Bragadiru, located 12 km southwest of Bucharest, was a typical suburban settlement, consisting of an older core, factories and fields. In 2005 the suburb was given city status, after which sustained construction activity began, which does not follow any urban planning, but, similar to some districts of Bucharest, the conditions of the market, with all its individual interests that are not oriented towards the community. A heterogeneous, sometimes chaotic cityscape is created, which this project follows. By deconstructing and reformatting the urban landscape, an unsuccessful and at the same time fascinating attempt is made to introduce order or harmony.
